CROSS-OS is not conceived as an immediate software product, but as a conceptual paradigm potentially applicable across a wide range of complex systems.
1. Adaptive systems
In environments where behavior must emerge from interacting constraints rather than rigid rules, CROSS-OS provides a natural structural model.
2. Human–machine interaction
The resolution paradigm enables non-imperative interaction, in which the user does not command the system, but reshapes its constraint configuration.
3. Therapeutic and rehabilitative contexts
In domains such as music therapy and sensorimotor regulation, where direct control is often ineffective, CROSS-OS offers an alternative theoretical framework: the system as stabilization process rather than execution engine.
4. Theoretical research
CROSS-OS can be used as a conceptual model to rethink the foundations of operating systems, computation, and process organization.
